The National Monuments Service's description

Within an enclosure (GA043-016----). A simple CBG, in fair condition, consisting of a subcircular area (E-W c. 12m, NW-SE c. 8.7m) enclosed by a very low bank of earth and stone, and within which a number of small irregular stones, indicating graves, are set haphazardly.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'. Compiled by Olive Alcock, Kathy de hÓra and Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
