In low-lying grassland. A subcircular cashel (N-S c. 60m, E-W c. 50m), in fair condition, defined by a drystone wall from NNE through E to SSW, and by a scarp at W: a field wall overlies the enclosing element elsewhere. Quarrying has encroached upon the monument at N. Within the flat but stone-strewn interior are traces of a possible souterrain to N of centre. The visible remains comprise three flat lintel-like slabs running N-S, the interstices of which are packed with small stones. There is also a shallow stone-lined hollow (E-W 3m, N-S 1.5m) just outside the cashel wall at SSW. Another ringfort (GA042-123----) lies 150m to S.
