The National Monuments Service's description
In undulating grassland on the lower SE slopes of a hill. Marked on 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (D c. 30m). The monument is cut by a field fence at NNE and SW, and all that is visible are faint traces of a circular enclosure (D 21.5m) defined by a denuded bank from W through N to NNE and from SE to S.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'. Compiled by Olive Alcock, Kathy de hÓra and Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
