Waddell (1990, 94) refers to a ‘cairn [GA041-054001-] near Headford’ that was opened in 1678 and which may have covered a cist (GA041-054002-). Two pottery vessels found in the grave contained ashes and burnt bones. A vase from this general area is preserved in the National Museum of Ireland (ibid.). Not located.
