The National Monuments Service's description
This cross-inscribed pillar stone is located within ‘Templenaneeve’ (GA040-013004-) and is fastened to the S wall of the church. According to Higgins (1987, vol. II, 301, no. 29) the slender limestone pillar (H 0.66m; Wth 0,85m; T 0.1-0.12m) was once broken in two but it has since been repaired with a thick layer of concrete. It bears a pocked one-line Latin cross with expanded or wedge-shaped terminals. Another cross-slab is pinned to the wall to its E – see GA040-013009-.
