The National Monuments Service's description
On a narrow terrace sloping steeply to the S, c. 25m to the SW of a possible hut site (GA036-024----). Recorded by M. Gibbons, this cist (1.6m N-S; 0.6m E-W; D 0.4m) is constructed of thin slabs of schist (T 0.1-0.15m) set end to end on the N, E and S sides and double-walling is evident on the N and S sides. Outcropping rock defines the W side. The A slab floor is visible at the base of the E end. The cist is centrally located within a cairn (4.2m N-S; c. 3.4m E-W) that is best preserved in the NE and S sectors. Some of the larger and now-displaced covering slabs are lying loose on its surface. The walls of the cist are sloping slightly to the S due to the weight of the cairn against its N side. A flint scraper found at the site suggests it is of Bronze Age date.
