The National Monuments Service's description
At E end of Loch Beitheach Cháinín close to shore. A roughly circular island with a natural rock foundation (D c. 30m) upon which is a steep-sided, flat-topped peaty mound (D c. 14m; H 4m). Now very overgrown, but faint traces of a revetment to the mound suggest that it may be artificial. Possible quay at N.
