The National Monuments Service's description
In cutaway bog on a ridge summit. The monument consists of a gallery (L 1.8m, Wth 1m) aligned E-W and formed of four stones. Two further stones, probably outer walling, are exposed to S. A displaced roofstone rests against the two taller W stones. Remains are probably those of a wedge-tomb.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. I - West Galway'. Compiled by Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993).
