The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle rise in generally level grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (N-S 55m, E-W 43m) defined by a scarp and external fosse. Possible entrance gap (Wth 5.5m) at SE. The monument has been quarried out at N and SW, and is cut by a field boundary at S. The field in which the monument is sited is known locally as the 'fort field'.
