The National Monuments Service's description
Within a ringfort (GA030-104----). The burials are indicated by rough limestone grave-markers arranged in rows running N-S, indicating graves aligned E-W. Some stone-lined graves are also visible. According to local information, the interior of the ringfort was used as the local burial ground until the graveyard, adjacent to St Patrick's RC church, was opened in Cartron td., 1 km to NE.
