The National Monuments Service's description
In the centre of Tuam town (GA029-199----). According to Ó Murchú (1970, 7), 'the first settlers in Tuam made their dwelling or “dún” where the Assembly Hall of the Presentation Sisters' Primary School now stands'. No visible surface trace survives.
