The National Monuments Service's description
Immediately to S of church (GA029-058001-). When writing of the church, OS Letters (O'Flanagan 1927, Vol. 1 44) record that 'children are still interred' there. The visible remains comprise an unenclosed irregularly shaped area (N-S 7m, E-W 5m) comprising four orderly rows of small set stones indicating graves oriented E-W.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'. Compiled by Olive Alcock, Kathy de hÓra and Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
