The National Monuments Service's description
Within NW quadrant of a ringfort (GA029-031----). According to Costello (1903, 10), this 'fort' contained 'a souterrain, but it is so filled up as to prevent inspection'. What is now visible is a grassy L-shaped depression (L 20m, Wth 3.5m) averaging 0.6m in depth. The longer arm (L 12.6m) runs E-W before turning sharply to S at E end, from where the shorter arm (L 7.4m) extends on a N-S axis.
