The National Monuments Service's description

Within W half of a ringfort (GA028-042----). A well-preserved drystone-built souterrain, L-shaped in plan, consisting of two chambers connected by a creep. Access via modern opening at S end of 1st chamber (L c. 4.5m, Wth 1.28m) which runs N-S. The N end has partially collapsed. A drop-hole creep (L 2.35m, Wth 0.59m) extends off SE end and leads down to a tunnel (L 1.2m, Wth 0.48m) which accesses 2nd chamber (L 5m, Wth 1.36m) running E-W. Its E end has also collapsed.
