The National Monuments Service's description
On a natural rise in a wooded area within the demesne of Ashford House. A very overgrown subcircular rath (N-S 44m) in fair condition. Defined by a bank, external fosse and outer bank, but no trace of the latter survives from N to SE. Cut by paths at N, ENE and S.
