The National Monuments Service's description

At the side of a modern trackway on S side of Gleann Glaise, immediately overlooking the Bealnabrack River and valley floor. It consists of a subcircular area (N-S 4.2m, E-W 5m) defined by low boulders, adjoined on its E and SE sides by a large grassed-over mound (N-S 4.2m, E-W 6.5m, H 1-1.6m). The latter has been damaged by the trackway, revealing shattered, burnt stone and humic earth. A stone row is visible on the valley floor c. 300m to N (GA025-012----), and there are two other fulachta fiadh (GA025-020----, GA025-021----) in the valley c. 305m and c. 730m to ESE and E respectively.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. I - West Galway'. Compiled by Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993).
