The National Monuments Service's description
Located within the Connemara National Park, in an area of rough grazing on a small terrace in blanket bog on the W slopes of Benbaun/Mweelin. This possible hut site (3.9m NW-SE; 3.1m NE-SW) is roughly D-shaped in plan. It is defined by a stone wall (ext. H 0.6m at NW) and wall collapse is evident internally. It was brought to the attention of the Archaeological Survey of Ireland by Helen Riekstiņš.
