The National Monuments Service's description
In a hollow to S of Lough Sheeauns. This tomb is very ruined. At E are the remains of a funnel-shaped court and 2m to W of this the rear chamber of the gallery (L 3m, Wth 1m). A large stone at the gallery entrance may be a displaced jamb. Traces of a low mound are visible to N and S of the monument and the remains of an old field wall survive to SW. See also GA022-006----.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. I - West Galway'. Compiled by Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993).
