The National Monuments Service's description
In pastureland on N side of Streamstown Bay. Described in 1872 as 'A remarkable, tall standing stone' (Kinahan 1872, 12) but apparently removed by time of 2nd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1898). However, Killanin (1954, 96) claimed that it still survived in early 1950s. No visible surface trace survives. (Killanin and Duignan 1967, 164)
