The National Monuments Service's description
In undulating grassland overlooking bogland to E. Subcircular rath (N-S 24.5m, E-W 22.3m), in fair condition, defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The inner bank is present only from NE to E and from S to SW; elsewhere a scarp forms the enclosing element. Gap at ESE could be original. A ringfort (GA016-070----) lies c. 350m to W.
