The National Monuments Service's description
In grassland to N of the junction of the Dalgan and Sinking Rivers. Poorly preserved circular rath (D 26m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The enclosing elements have been disturbed from N to NE, and a road cuts the outer bank at S. A gap at SSW appears original. (Neary 1914, 122, no. 78)
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'. Compiled by Olive Alcock, Kathy de hÓra and Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
