The National Monuments Service's description
Within the graveyard (GA016-013002-) associated with the church (GA106-013001-). Described by Higgins (1987, vol. II, 278, no. 9) as a large rectangular sandstone slab (H 0.96m; Wth 0.32m; T 0.07m) that bears three single-line Greek crosses: one larger cross is placed above two smaller ones. The slab was upright but it set loosely in the ground. A notch noted about half-way down each side of it may have been intended to mark the approximate depth to which it was to be sunk into the ground. The cross-slab is one of three (see also GA016-013004- and GA016-013005-) recorded by Higgins (ibid., 323, no. 49; 373, no. 93) in the graveyard.
