The National Monuments Service's description

On flat, reclaimed bogland to ESE of Tully Cross. The monument, in ruins, consists of a gallery (L c. 3m, Wth c. 1.1m) aligned WNW-ESE. The W end of the gallery is closed by a large stone set outside the ends of the side-walls. An inclined stone of unknown function stands within the open E end of the gallery. Two large slabs, probably displaced roofstones, rest on the monument at NW. The remains are insufficient to permit classification.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. I - West Galway'. Compiled by Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993).
