The National Monuments Service's description
On a small grassy coastal headland flanked by steep gullies. Poorly preserved, almost square enclosure (L 13.3m, Wth 13.1m) defined by a grassed-over drystone wall. Well-defined entrance at W (Wth 0.65m). There are enigmatic bumps and hollows in the interior. A similar enclosure (GA009D033----) lies c. 50m to ENE.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. I - West Galway'. Compiled by Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993).
