The National Monuments Service's description
On a low hill in grassland. According to Neary (1914, 121, no. 31), this is known as 'Martin's Fort'. It comprises an originally subcircular rath (N-S 33m) defined by a scarp/bank. A field wall cuts the monument at N and S and no visible surface traces survive to W of it. The surviving section is defined by a scarp from N to E, and by a bank from E to S, the latter overlain by a field boundary at S. A vegetation band at SE may represent the last vestiges of an external fosse. A gap at ESE could be original.
