The National Monuments Service's description
Described in the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage as: 'Three-arch limestone road bridge, built c.1820, over Island River. Comprises walls of coursed large blocks of squared stone, segmental arches with ashlar voussoirs, and piers having round-plan cutwaters. Parapets capped with flat stones (http://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah accessed 4 April 2016).
