The National Monuments Service's description

During topsoil-stripping along the South-Eastern Motorway (M50) remains of fulacht fiadh were identified as patches of burnt soil near a stream. The finds from the fulacht fia consisted mainly of post-medieval pottery, glass and clay pipes (Breen 2004, 126).
