The National Monuments Service's description
Pre-development testing in 2000 revealed a low oval enclosure. The enclosing bank was constructed with material scarped from the interior. A number of fragments of cremated bone were found across the top of the bank and a large pit in the north-eastern quadrant contained burnt bone and undecorated potsherds. A portion of a porphyry stone axe was found across the the top of the banks (Seaver and Keeley 2002, 112-113).
