The National Monuments Service's description

The OS Letters (1837) mention a 'cromleac' SE of Ballybetagh House which was '7 feet long (2.13m), 2 and a half feet broad' (Wth 0.75m) and same thickness . It inclined to the S resting on the surface of a few small stones c. 1 foot (0.32m) above the surface. The diameter of the circle that encloses it, was not much more than the length of the stone (Herity 2001, 16). This site has not been precisely located.
