The National Monuments Service's description
The present precise location of this graveslab has not been identified. This graveslab was first recorded by O'Reilly (1901, 139) and was then lying in the ruined chancel under the east window. It was formed from granite (L 0.68m x Wth 0.48m-0.43m x T 0.1m). The decoration consists of a band extending along the central line of the slab. On the band there was one-cupmark midway and another partly broken away at the fractured end. A single transverse line extended across the slab in line with the central cup-mark (Ó hÉailidhe 1957, 85-6; Healy 2009, 85). Rathmichael Church (DU026-050002-) stands on the E slopes of Carrickgollogan.
See attached drawing of graveslab taken from Healy 2009, 85.
