The National Monuments Service's description

The church is located on the Marino Avenue West, leading E off Killiney Hill road. According to Wakeman (1892, 102) the cemetery was originally enclosed by an earthen rath, which was replaced by the present stone boundary wall. This may indicate the former presence of an ecclesiastical enclosure.
