The National Monuments Service's description

Situated inside the boundary wall of Glenasmole Lodge. A standing stone consisting of a large granite boulder which formerly had a marble slab set into it which bore the following inscription 'Finna koon one of the Irish giants carried this stone on his shoulder from the opposite mountain on April 1st 1444. He was 9 feet7 inches high and weighed 44 stone' (Healy 1961, 115). Precise location unknown.
