Situated on the S slopes of Piperstown Hill. A cairn known as Site H. ‘ Site H: This cairn of stones is the largest and most impressive monument on the hillside. It is irregular in plan, averaging about 7 m. in diameter, and is about 60 cm. in maximum height. In the southern half there are five large, widely spaced, vertically set kerbstones; two somewhat sirnilar stones are visible in the northern portion of the cairn and it is possible that they may also be kerbstones but as this is very doubtful they have not been plotted on the plan. There has been some recent disturbance of the cairn just south of its centre.’ This was considered by Rynne and Ó hÉailidhe (1965, 79) to be a possible burial cairn. This is part of an extensive settlement and cemetery of Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age date
