The National Monuments Service's description
Situated to the N of Kilgobbin Road. A cist was noted by Rev. George Goring Cuthbert in 1835. A human skeleton enclosed in a cist was unearthed in the immediate vicinity of Kilgobbin castle (Leslie 1934).
