The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a steep grass-covered knoll, off the Pine Forest Road. A walled graveyard square in plan (NW-SE 43m, SW-NE 43m). Within the graveyard is the remains of Cruagh Church (DU025-003001-), a roughly square granite font (DU025-003002-), a cemetery watchtower (DU025-003003-) and an inscribed pillar stone or standing stone DU025-003004-) (O'Reilly 1901, 184-155; Crawford 1913, 167; Ó hÉailidhe 1957, 86).
