The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a prominent rise in pastureland with extensive views. A circular raised area (ext. diam.25.5m) defined by an external bank (Wth 3.8m; H 0.4-0.5m) and internal fosse (Wth 2m; D 0.3m). The E section of the barrow has been truncated by a field boundary extending N-S. (Healy 1975, 1-19).
