The National Monuments Service's description
This largely grass-covered cairn lies at the junction of three townland boundaries on Tallaght Hill. A circular in cairn (diam. c. 18m; H c. 3m). The stones from the top of the cairn have been robbed. There are no kerbstones visible. The SW quadrant is under forest and a NE-SW drain S of a field boundary, runs into the middle of the monument. In 1994 the cairn was further damaged when a newly constructed forest road cut through the base of the cairn on its N side. A shooting hide has been constructed on the top of the monument. Mentioned by Price (1940, 123).
