The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in the NW of Dalkey Island, N of St. Begnet's Church. A burial ground excavated in 1958. The excavation revealed eleven burials, four of which belonged to a regularly laid out graveyard. They were buried in reasonably deep graves, arms at their sides and orientated NE-SW. Probably of medieval date (Liversage 1968, 175-179).
