The National Monuments Service's description

Located on the low-lying grounds of Corkagh Demesne which has been incorporated into a public park. According to Ua Broin (1944, 203), Corkagh House stood 'within the moat of a castle' (DU021-011001-). This had been fed by a tributary of the Camac River. Corkagh House was demolished in the 1960s. There are no visible remains at ground level.
