The National Monuments Service's description
In the churchyard of St Michan's church (DU018-020084-)is a broken slab with the fragmentary inscription in Roman letters commemorating John Steel who was buried on the 15 August 1654 and Henry Steel on the 15 December 1667 (Mems. Dead IX, 1913-16, 486).
