The National Monuments Service's description
A National Museum file recording excavations on the site of St. Mary's abbey (DU018-048----) in 1971 refers to the finding of a 'wall associated with the abbey' on the west side of Liffey Street backing onto Jervis Street hospital (NMI 1971:1063). The exact location of this precinct wall is not known.
