The National Monuments Service's description
Pre-development excavation revealed evidence for the first flint glassworks in Dublin which had been established on Plot 1 in 1675 by John Odacio Formica. The evidence comprised glassworks debris including crucible fragments , glass cullet and frit and fragments of two furnace doors (Myles, F.2006, 154-5).
