The National Monuments Service's description

Listed on the City Development Plan 1991 as 'site of mill race' (No. 81). Bordered on the E by the River Dodder, this site was developed as a bakery by Johnston Mooney & O'Brien. Pre-development assessment of the site in 1995 identified a section (Wth 8m) of culverted millrace or watercourse extending through the site. It was built of regularly coursed, walls (T 0.8m; H 1.8m) and was divided in two (Gowen 1995, 15-6).
