The National Monuments Service's description

According to Kelly (1995, 59) the house of the Keeper of Cullenswood, Mr. Thomas Ward in the first half of the 17th century was by No. 130 Ranelagh Village. It was demolished c. 1850 leaving beside it Cullenswood Lodge. In Depositions made by Ward in 1642 he recounted his house and offices at Cullenswood being totally destroyed by fire (Ball 1903, 109).
