The National Monuments Service's description
JoyceWeston-St John (1912, 346) mentions an old Lodge known as Ballyfermot Lodge which is probably the 'Tiles House' referred to by J. S. Le Fanu in his story of 'The House by the Churchyard'. Date uncertain.
