The National Monuments Service's description
A well known as the 'Stone Well' was located at the intersection of North Frederick Street and Dorset Street Upper. This was a landmark in the Riding of the Franchises in 1603 (Daly 1957, 21; Anon 1928, 161). There is a housing estate on the site.
