The National Monuments Service's description

In 1956 a number of skeletons were discovered N of Mobhi Lane and E of the Church of Ireland, Glasnevin. These were not oriented in the same direction, one was N-S and another was NW-SE. Animal bones were found on site. An iron knife was also found (NMI 1960:16).
