The National Monuments Service's description
The Civil survey (1654-6) mentions a thatched house with a thatched stable and five small cottages owned by Lord Baron of Howth in Kilbarrack (Simington 1945, 170). These may have been on the site of Kilbarrack House. Not visible at ground level.
