The National Monuments Service's description

Finglaswood House, formerly the home of the Seagrave family, incorporated a tower house. The Civil survey (1654-6) mentions farm buildings associated with a stone house at Finglaswood (Simington 1945, 134). The building was demolished before the early 1970s. No visible surface remains at ground level.
