The National Monuments Service's description

The only trace of the medieval foundation on St. Pappan's Church of Ireland (1709) is a font in the SW corner of the chancel. It has a plain octagonal shape and is set on its original plinth (diam. 0.68m, H 1.1m. ; see Adams 1881, 482-495).
